We Love Horses

For the past 15 years, Harbak Horse Haven has operated high-quality agistment services on a property on the banks of the Brisbane River in the Western suburbs of Brisbane. At Harbak, we take pride in everything that we do including care of horses, breeding mares, stallions, and the training of youngstock. Our paddocks have been purpose sown to suit horses and this, plus vigilant maintenance of the paddocks, results in a fine pasture to complement the horses’ diet.

In 2015 we began a new business – Harbak Performance Horses with one high-quality broodmare who produced two beautiful foals using embryo transfer techniques. We have grown rapidly, increasing our broodmares and stallions and continuing to use embryo transfer techniques to maximise the numbers of foals born each year. Harbak Performance Horses is now a stud breeding warmblood horses of the highest quality using some of the top genetics from both overseas and in Australia.

Our breeding program is the result of careful planning when selecting broodmares and suitable stallions. We focus on temperament, conformation and movement when choosing our breeding stock and have chosen international stallions as well as top performers from within Australia. Some of the bloodlines include Rubinstein, Donnerhall, Bellisimo M, Sandro Hit and Grannus to name a few. This has resulted in stunning progeny with amazing movement that we are currently training, with some under saddle and the others being transitioned to saddle.
